Coos County, Oregon – One person is dead after a head on crash on Monday September 16th, 2019 on HWY 101 in Coos County. A blue Saab driven by Rena Clemons (56) of Coos Bay was going northbound when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed into the oncoming lane on a curve where she collided with a southbound green Ford Taurus driven by Michael Puschel (68) of Coos Bay.
Clemon sustained fatal injuries from the car accident. Puschel and his passenger, Toni Puschel (67) of Coos Bay, were transported to Bay Area Hospital with serious injuries. Their condition is unknown at this time.
