Marion County, Oregon – A head-on crash on HWY 99E in Marion County, Oregon leaves two drivers with serious injuries and hospitalized.
On Wednesday November 13, 2019 at 7:54 P.M. a silver 2002 GMC Envoy, driven by Nicolas Martinez-Rivera (56) of Woodburn, was going northbound on Hwy 99E near Concomly Rd NE when for unknown reasons Martines-Rivera veered into the southbound lanes. Martines-Rivera collided head-on with a 2009 Ford F-150 pickup driven by Kaleefa Chernishoff (26) of Brooks.
Chernishoff suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Salem Hospital.
Martinez-Rivera suffered critical injuries and was transported by air to Legacy Emmanuel in Portland.
