A sixth-generation Oregonian, Timothy Walsh first fell in love with the law while helping lead his high school mock trial team to a state championship. After earning his undergraduate degree from Willamette University, Tim stayed in Salem to attend the Willamette University College of Law. There, he was selected for a pair of prestigious judicial externships: first for the Hon. John V. Acosta at the United States District Court, District of Oregon, and later for the Hon. Virginia L. Linder at the Oregon Supreme Court. Tim also served as an Articles Editor for the Willamette Law Review and earned the 2014 Bruce Spaulding Memorial Award for Trial Advocacy, given to the most outstanding participant in Willamette’s Civil Trial Practice program.

Since graduating from Willamette Law in 2014, Tim’s practice has focused exclusively on representing ordinary people who have been injured and hurt. He prides himself on his ability to explain difficult legal concepts in an understandable way, and he particularly enjoys cases that involve complex legal research and writing. Tim serves on the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association’s Publications and Legislative Committees, writes occasionally for Trial Lawyer magazine, is a past chair of OTLA’s Motor Vehicle Section, and has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers every year since 2019.

Outside of the law, Tim volunteers regularly with Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon’s Daily Bread Express program, which provides weekly in-home meal delivery for low-income people living with HIV/AIDS. He also thoroughly enjoys serving as the public address voice of Willamette Bearcats football.
