Fresno County, California (Fresno, CA) – On June 28, 2022, an alleged intoxicated motorist smashed into a Fresno cop car late Tuesday while the cop was conducting an unrelated traffic stop.
The cop and the 36-year-old DUI accused were both unharmed. Lt. Brian Valles said two more patients were brought to Community Regional Medical Center with reports of discomfort. The cop, whose name was not published, had stopped a car between Tulare and Fourth streets in southeast Fresno to inspect a probable traffic infraction.
The allegedly intoxicated motorist smashed into the rear of the police car shortly before 9 p.m., slamming into the automobile the policeman was investigating. The accused, a 36-year-old woman whose identity was not fully disclosed, was apprehended at the scene on suspicion of DUI.
