Washington County, Utah (St. George, UT) – On October 7, 2025, a two-year-old boy was taken to a hospital as a precaution after being struck by a vehicle in St. George, UT.
According to Officer Doug Jaycox of the St. George Police Department, the child was crossing the street with his grandfather when a vehicle traveling at low speed struck him. The driver told police that glare from the setting sun obstructed his view, and despite braking immediately, the vehicle made contact with the child at an estimated speed of about 5 mph.
