Linn County, Oregon (OR) – On October 30, 2025, at about 4:20 p.m., emergency crews responded to a serious crash involving two vehicles on Highway 20 near milepost 4 in Linn County, OR.
According to the initial investigation, a Ford F-150 towing a flatbed trailer was traveling east when it crossed into the westbound lane and collided nearly head-on with a Toyota 4Runner heading west. The pickup was driven by 47-year-old Christopher Jon Forum of Sweet Home, and the SUV was driven by 73-year-old Doranna Lee Morris of Mill City.
Morris died at the scene from her injuries. Four passengers in the Toyota, a 27-year-old woman, Nicole Lynn Dekanu of Albany, and three children (ages 7, 4, and 1) were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Forum, the driver of the Ford, was also transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
The crash closed Highway 20 for about six hours while investigators worked at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
