Lane County, Oregon (Springfield, OR) – On Nov. 7, 2025, Springfield Police responded to reports of a two-car crash near the intersection of Pioneer Parkway East and F Street in Springfield, OR.
Officers arrived within a minute of the 911 call and found both drivers at the scene. One driver, a woman found unconscious in her vehicle, received immediate aid from officers until paramedics took over. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries, police said.
According to investigators, a 2018 Hyundai Elantra was traveling west on F Street when it crossed Pioneer Parkway East and was struck on the driver’s side by a northbound 2010 Audi A6.
The Springfield Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is handling the case. Authorities said alcohol is not believed to have played a role in the crash. The woman’s name has not yet been released, pending notification of her family.
