Tigard, Oregon (OR) – On January 24, 2026, four people were taken to hospitals following a two-vehicle crash and fire in Tigard, OR.
Crews responded around 5:45 p.m. to reports of a collision on the highway involving two cars. The crash caused significant damage, and one of the vehicles caught fire. The incident forced the closure of all southbound lanes between Greenberg Road and Highway 99, along with one northbound lane, as firefighters worked to put out the fire and rescue those involved.
Fire crews later cleared the scene, allowing all northbound lanes and one southbound lane to reopen around 7:07 p.m. The remaining lanes reopened about an hour later.
The Oregon Department of Transportation and Tigard police continued to handle the scene.
