Wasatch County, Utah (Heber, UT) – On March 14, 2026, authorities have identified the two individuals who died in a crash in Wasatch County, UT.
The collision occurred around 2:30 p.m., when a box truck traveling eastbound veered off its lane onto the right shoulder near milepost 51. The truck then reentered the roadway, crossed the centerline, and struck a westbound Chevy Silverado pickup. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the impact was severe, causing the cab of the box truck to detach from its frame and come to rest upside down.
Both occupants of the Silverado were pronounced dead at the scene. They were later identified as 39-year-old Don C. Herbert and 34-year-old Mitchell L. Farnsworth. The driver of the box truck, whose identity has not been released, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. His current condition remains unknown.
No additional details have been released.
