Los Angeles County, California (CA) – On October 19,2023, around 4:30 a.m., an individual died and three others are in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash on a transition road from eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway and the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles, CA.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the white car that struck the black sedan on the 10 Freeway was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes. The three people in the black automobile suffered serious injuries, and it is thought that the white car’s driver passed away.
The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert that shut down four eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway at Santa Fe Avenue as investigators looked into the collision.
Drivers are urged to stay away from the area.
