Tulare County, California (Waukena, CA) – On December 16, 2022, a multi-car accident that involved a big rig occurred on Friday at Avenue 216 and State Route 137 in Waukena, CA.
The incident happened around 8:06 a.m. According to authorities, the motorists included a semi-truck, a black Toyota Corolla, a gray Nissan Altima, and a silver Honda sedan. A woman in one of the automobiles said she was in “a lot of pain,” and the front end of her car was “completely gone.”
During the accident, the semi-truck, which was towing crates of cheese, pressed one of the cars off the highway. Tulare County Fire Department paramedics reacted to assist the wounded, although none of the injuries are viewed as life threatening.
Meanwhile, tow trucks have removed two of the vehicles, and authorities are examining the case to evaluate who was to blame for the incident.
