San Bernardino County, California (Phelan, CA) – On June 15, 2022, a teen riding a trail bike died when he crashed into an SUV in Phelan, CA.
The collision was initially reported around 1:27 p.m., between Sunnyslope Road and Sahara Road, east of Sheep Creek Road. Authorities said the reporting party stated that he collided with a dirt bike rider. According to records, the motorist said he was traveling down a dirt road when the motorcycle went around the curve and collided with the front of the SUV.
The operator of the Chevy Tahoe also stated that the male teenager between 14 and 15 years old was unresponsive but had a pulse. The motorcyclist was declared dead on the spot. California Highway Patrol officers arrived to conduct an investigation. Following the devastating news, family and friends of the deceased began to arrive at the site.
