Sacramento County, California (CA) – On Tuesday morning, March 14, 2023, a tragic pedestrian incident happened between Antelope Road and Daly Avenue in Sacramento County, CA.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. Based on a dispatch from the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the Antelope area. A gray BMW driver allegedly hit a male pedestrian in the road.
The driver reportedly called 911 and informed operators that “he didn’t know what he hit and kept driving,” according to the CHP report. Officers went to the intersection and discovered the deceased pedestrian, but no further information about the victim is available.
It is also uncertain whether the driver was arrested or cited. It is, however, illegal to flee the site of a traffic collision involving injury or death.
