Lane County, Oregon (OR) – On September 3, 2021, at around 12:20 P.M. OSP and emergency workers rescued a four-car collision on Hwy 101 close to milepost 182.
According to the report, a Dodge 1500 pickup, driven by Jessica Herselius, 39-year-old of Elmira, was traveling northbound when it missed giving way for stopped traffic.
A domino effect accident happened with the Dodge 1500 truck rear-ended a Toyota Rav4, driven by Cynthia Bue, 61-year-old of Elmira. The Rav4 collided with Adam Woods, 43-year-old of Albany, who was driving a Mercedes Sprinter van. The Mercedes Sprinter truck hit a Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Marcia Yoder, 75-year-old of Hubbard.
Bue was flown to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Riverbend by air ambulance, where she was pronounced dead. Herselius was taken to Peace Harbor Medical Center with injuries. Both Woods and Yoder were unharmed. Hwy 101 was shut down for around 1.5 hours.
