Fresno County, California (Fresno, CA) – On August 21, 2023, a big rig vehicle and a bicycle collided in front of the Calwa Preschool on South Cedar Avenue in Fresno, CA.
After informing the man’s next of kin, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Coroner was able to identify him as Daniel Reason, 35-year-old. At around 12:40 p.m., the deadly collision happened. When reporting the crash to 911, someone mentioned that “there is a bike laying near the road as well.”
According to reports, Daniel Reason was riding a mountain bike southbound along Cedar Avenue. According to reports, he rode onto the road and was struck by a tractor-trailer. Along with the Fresno Police Department, paramedics arrived at the site in the southbound lanes of Cedar Avenue, close to Kaviland Avenue.
Investigators are investigating the Fresno bike collision to determine the perpetrator.
