Shasta County, California (Anderson, CA) – On September 25, 2023, two-car incident left two individuals injured on Deschutes Road close to Highway 273 and Interstate 5 in Anderson, CA.
The drivers of a little blue sedan and a white minivan were involved. On Deschutes Road, the driver of the blue automobile is said to have been traveling north when they allegedly ran a red light. The southbound minivan was T-boned by the automobile as it attempted to turn left at the crossing. The minivan then flipped over onto its side.
Police from Anderson arrived on the scene next to the Jack in the Box restaurant. According to authorities, there were four passengers in all between the two cars. Two occupants of one of the automobiles were taken to hospital by paramedics once they arrived and treated for minor wounds.
The cause of the crash on Anderson’s Deschutes Road is under investigation.
