Los Angeles County, California (West Covina, CA) – On December 3, 2022, Two dead, and 2 others were injured following a possible speeding vehicle colliding into a pair of parked cars in West Covina, CA.
The collision transpired Saturday morning when an alleged driver under influence hit a pair of parked cars. Los Angeles County Fire Department said that the tragedy happened right before 7:30 in the morning when three individuals got trapped. One was killed on the spot near the intersection of North Grand Avenue and East Toni Drive.
An individual was pronounced dead at the scene was a 30-year-old woman. Authorities originally declared two of those trapped were rushed to area hospitals but was later added with one of whom — a man — died at the hospital. CHP says the other two are in unknown condition. One of whom was the driver who was placed under arrest at the hospital on suspicion of DUI. According to CHP, the other two including the driver with a condition not known were put to arrest at the hospital due to an alleged DUI.
A neighbor told KTLA that the mishap involved one car, an Acura, that smashed two parked vehicles, and that all four individuals affected in the collision were in the Acura, which was fully damaged.
