Napa County, California (CA) – On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, a Portland couple was tragically killed in a car accident in Napa County, CA.
According to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office, the Deatons were killed while bicycling along a California highway. Christian Deaton, 52-year-old, and Michelle Deaton, 48-year-old, were described as ‘amazing friends’ by Cholee Thompson. She claimed the couple were frequently on the go, going to concerts and camping trips all across the nation together. They were in California this week because of this.
Another long-time friend, Josh Ring, said he was supposed to meet up with them at the end of their road trip. Thompson said that when she learned about their deaths, she immediately wanted to call Michelle Deaton.
She is now hoping to continue their legacy of living life to the fullest.
