Ventura County, California (CA) – On June 17, 2023, a motorcyclist identified as Jonathan Genavia, a 35-year-old was killed on Pacific Coast Highway along Deer Creek Road in Ventura County, CA.
The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. The rider was traveling southbound on PCH in Harley-Davidson. A Toyota Corolla driver who had been stopped in the right shoulder abruptly swerved into Jonathan Genavia’s path. The rider was flung into the road when the two automobiles crashed.
After the collision, paramedics arrived on the scene and transported the injured rider to a helicopter landing spot adjacent to PCH. The wounded motorcycle rider was flown to the closest hospital. Jonathan Genavia sadly died before the helicopter took off. The Toyota’s 74-year-old Oxnard driver pulled over and is helping with the inquiry. At least one of the wrecked automobiles was towed off the motorway in the meantime by tow trucks.
