Riverside County, California (Jurupa Valley, CA) – On November 10, 2025, two people lost their lives after a car went out of control and slammed into a box truck off the 60 Freeway in Jurupa Valley, CA.
The incident occurred just before 5 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near Country Village Road, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Investigators said a black Honda sedan lost control, struck the freeway’s center divider, and then careened across multiple lanes before going down an embankment. The vehicle eventually collided with a box truck parked in a nearby commercial lot.
The male driver was ejected from the car during the crash and was found deceased on the freeway. A female passenger was discovered dead inside the vehicle, CHP reported.
All eastbound lanes except the carpool lane were closed for several hours while authorities investigated and cleared the scene. The freeway has since been fully reopened.
