San Francisco County, California (CA) – On July 30, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred on southbound Interstate 280 near Ocean Avenue in San Francisco County, CA.
Around 11:22 a.m., a black Lexus SUV and a blue Mercedes-Benz coupe collided just north of the Ocean Avenue exit, blocking the slow lane and disrupting freeway exits. CHP reported minor injuries and requested an ambulance, with fire crews also responding.
Tow trucks were requested, but delays occurred due to the limited availability of flatbeds. At least six vehicles stopped nearby, possibly for witness statements or traffic-related reasons.
The extent of injuries is unclear, and CHP has not confirmed if speed, impairment, or other factors were involved.
