Los Angeles County, California (Studio, CA) – On May 21, 2023, a vehicle slams into a sushi restaurant on Ventura Boulevard along Carpenter Avenue in Studio City, CA.
Crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department rushed to 11820 W. At 1:35 p.m. on Ventura Blvd. When firefighters arrived, they discovered a white car that had slammed into Akira Sushi. Following the incident, a surveillance camera captured smoke rising from the passenger side door. After that, a person steps out of the car and exits the scene.
Authorities attended the collision and discovered that the motorist was going westbound on Ventura Boulevard when the car smashed into the sushi restaurant for unclear reasons. Authorities discovered the dog, not the driver, inside the vehicle. LAFD Urban Search and Rescue personnel responded to aid with the vehicle’s removal. Building and safety experts are now assessing the building’s structural integrity. Fortunately, just one person was inside because the restaurant was closed, and no one was hurt.
