Eugene, Oregon – Last Week Eugene police have responded to two dog bites, bring the total reported dog bites in Eugene to 64 this year.
Last year in 2018 a total of 89 dog bites were reported according to Ohn Hankemeir, the Eugene police spokesman.
One person suffered a dog bite to the face outside a restaurant in a shopping center at North Delta and Green Acres road in what was classified as a domestic dispute. A person was transported to the hospital from the scene but it was no released if the person bit was taken to the hospital or if it was another person involved in the dispute.
No one was cited or charged, Hankemeier said but the dog was taken for a mandatory quarantine.
