Orange County, California (Anaheim CA) – On December 10, 2025, eight Anaheim teenagers were injured when a suspected DUI driver veered off the road and crashed into them during a training run in Anaheim, CA.
The teens, all 16-year-old or 17-year-old, were gathered at Harbor Boulevard and W. North Street around 3 p.m. when a red Toyota suddenly swerved toward the corner where they were waiting. Surveillance video obtained by KABC shows the car sharply turning right before hitting the group.
Three students suffered serious injuries and were taken to the hospital. A coach running with the team reached the intersection just in time to see the impact. The 27-year-old Anaheim man behind the wheel was also hospitalized and later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Police say he will be booked once he is released from medical care.
School resource officers responded immediately, and the investigation is ongoing.
