Sacramento County, California (CA) – On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, a driver died after rear-ending another car and causing another incident, which resulted in a DUI arrest in the area of Elverta Road and Dominion Way near Antelope, north of Sacramento, CA.
A truck was stopped at a crossroads when, for unclear reasons, a second truck rear-ended it, pushing it into the path of a third truck. The driver of the second truck, simply identified as a man, maybe in his 60s or 70s, who rear-ended the first, was killed in the incident.
The driver of the third truck that collided with the first was arrested after fleeing the scene. He is accused of hit-and-run driving under the influence. The CHP said the individual would not face charges for the incident or death since he was not at fault.
The driver of the first truck, which was struck twice, was a minor and was not injured.
