Wasco County, Oregon (OR) – On October 26, 2022, a motorcycle accident occurred on the U.S. 30 at milepost 66 near Rowena, Oregon.
The operator of the motorcycle, Stefan Lovewell, 32-year-old, of The Dalles, was heading east when, for a reason not known, he wandered into the oncoming highway and crashed head-on with a Sprinter van, driven by Gill Moisan, 59-year-old, from Quebec, Canada, that was heading in the opposite lane.
The van’s operator, along with his passenger, were not hurt. Meanwhile, Lovewell died on the spot.
Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue and the Oregon Department of Transportation assisted the Oregon State Police.
