Lane County (Cottage Grove, Oregon) – On November 15th, 2019 Andrew Evans (43) of Cottage Grove walked into the southbound lanes of I-5 into the path of a semi-truck driven by Ignacio Moncada (46) of Winton, CA.
Evans sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Moncada was not injured.
One southbound lane was closed for 2.5 hours.
