Fatal Two Vehicle Crash on I-5 Off Ramp – Marion County
October 10, 2019

Marion County – One driver is dead after they ran a stop sign and was t-boned by a flatbed tow truck as they took the I-5 off-ramp at Delaney Rd.

On Wednesday, October 9th, 2019 at approximately 4:50 pm a Dodge Intrepid, driven by Anthony Fisher (56) of Turner, was exiting I-5 southbound on the offramp at Delaney Rd. when he failed to stop at the controlled intersection. The Dodge was struck by a westbound tow truck operated by Christopher Helige (37) of Aumsville.  

Fished was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Heilige was transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in the car crash.
