Fresno County, California (Sanger, CA) – On August 23, 2023, an individual was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that happened at Goodfellow Avenue in Sanger, CA.
According to information from Your Central Valley, the collision occurred on Goodfellow Avenue, just east of Rio Vista Avenue. A Chevrolet Silverado, a BMW 328i, a Toyota Camry, and a Hyundai Accent were among the four cars that were on the road nearby. Traffic caused the driver of the Toyota Camry to begin to slow down, and in an effort to avoid a collision, the driver of the Silverado veered into the other lane. In the end, Silverado hit Camry’s rear before slamming head-on into the BMW in the other lane. The Hyundai driver made an effort to avoid hitting the cars, but Silverado was nonetheless hit.
Local fire departments and paramedics were sent to the location. A 58-year-old guy who was the driver of the BMW was recognized and taken to a nearby hospital, where he regrettably passed away. Both the female drivers of Silverado and the Hyundai, ages 26-year-old and 49-year-old were taken to hospital with injuries. The 24-year-old female driver of the Camry was not sent to hospital but did have minor wounds. Following the collision, police cordoned off a section of the road. Officials from the California Highway Patrol are still looking into what led to the collision at this time.
