San Diego County, California (Mira Mesa, CA) – On January 14, 2023, an individual sustained critical injuries after being hit between Camino Ruiz and Jade Coast Drive in Mira Mesa, CA.
A Cadillac vehicle hit an adult female in San Diego’s Mira Mesa area. The incident happened around 1:31 p.m. close to the intersection of Camino Ruiz and Jade Coast. According to previous accounts, the woman was walking west on the Jade Coast Drive crosswalk. The operator of the Cadillac was unable to stop at the red light for unspecified reasons and struck the pedestrian. Officials verified that the driver ran away and left the injured victim.
