Santa Clara County, California (San Jose, CA) – On Sunday, March 26, 2023, a 27-year-old woman named Silvia Solorio from Santa Clara was arrested on felony hit-and-run on Blossom Hill Road in San Jose, CA.
She was arrested on vehicular manslaughter charges after killing 45-year-old Cao Limin in Los Gatos. Her dog was also killed, and her young daughter sustained injuries. Solorio was arrested Monday night after police worked tirelessly to locate her and her vehicle, according to the San Jose Police Department.
Solorio allegedly struck Limin and her child at around 6:50 in the evening on the 26th of March while they were walking their dog at the intersection of Blossom Hill Road and Leigh Avenue. Limin died at the scene, as reported by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office. Limin’s young daughter was transported to a local hospital after sustaining minor injuries, but the family’s dog died along with Limin. Meanwhile, Solorio was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail, where she has been charged with felony vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run.
