San Diego County, California (San Diego, CA) – On June 14, 2023, a vehicle and a motorbike collided injuring both the rider and the driver near Catalina Boulevard and Talbot Street in San Diego, CA.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at 2:13 p.m., according to the San Diego Police Department. A 52-year-old lady driving a 2005 Mercedes-Benz E320 northbound on Catalina Boulevard veered left into the path of a southbound 2016 Harley-Davidson motorbike for an unexplained cause. As a consequence, the motorbike collided with the Mercedes, injuring the motorist’s wrist.
However, the biker sustained a pelvic fracture, closed fractures in both legs and an 8-inch laceration in his right thigh. Arriving officials confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the collision, but investigators from the department’s Traffic Division are still investigating who is to blame.
