Alameda County, California (Alameda, CA) – On August 22, 2023, a four-vehicle collision occurred on the eastbound Interstate 580 Freeway at North Livermore Avenue off-ramp in Livermore, CA.
According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, at about 1:23 p.m., a multi-vehicle incident happened on August 22 in the slow lanes. The drivers of a grey Toyota Tundra pickup truck, a white Honda HRV, a white Ford car, and a blue Tesla Model Y were involved. Police are on the scene, but it’s unclear what caused the chain-reaction crash at this time.
Additionally, paramedics came to aid individuals harmed in the collision, although the wounds were deemed minor. Several of the damaged cars, including the pickup truck with significant front-end damage and the Tesla with both front- and rear-end damage, were towed from the interstate in the meantime.
Investigators are currently investigating the Livermore collision case to determine the perpetrator.
