San Bernardino County, California (Hesperia, CA) – On Friday, March 31, 2023, several vehicles caused a traffic jam after crashing into each other on the northbound I-15 freeway in Hesperia, CA.
At around 10:34 in the morning, just north of Main Street, a crash occurred between a black Jeep Grand Cherokee, a white Ford Platinum pickup truck, a burgundy sedan, and a gray Toyota Corolla.
They came to a complete stop in the fast lane and some passengers exited their vehicles to check on those involved. California Highway Patrol officers conducted a traffic break as the vehicle moved to the right shoulder. The SUV required a tow truck, but three vehicles were drivable. According to CHP, only the no. 1 lane closed while 2 and 3 remained open.
No one appeared to sustain major injuries, and an investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
