San Diego County, California (San Diego, CA) – On April 6, 2022, a multi-car accident between Fairmont Avenue and Aldine Drive injured three individuals.
Authorities said the incident happened around 10 p.m., and the crash involved four automobiles and wounded three people. A 31-year-old man was heading north on Fairmont Avenue and tried to get into the far right lane. That’s when he reportedly collided with the rear of another vehicle in the lane. The second motorist, it appears, lost control of their car and drove over the dirt middle line. The automobile ended up in the southbound lanes, where it slammed with a third car. Meanwhile, the first vehicle collided with a huge construction truck that was stopped on the east curb.
The driver of the first car, a 31-year-old guy, complained of discomfort and unexplained injuries. He was taken to hospital in an ambulance by paramedics. A second driver, a 31-year-old man, also sustained major inside injuries. He was taken to the hospital by rescuers and is being treated for a shattered pelvis, lacerated liver, and kidney.
Lastly, a 65-year-old guy sitting in the passenger seat of a stopped construction vehicle had a broken sternum.
