Lincoln County, Oregon (Depoe Bay, OR) – On December 13, 2021, at around 3:25 P.M., OSP and emergency workers rescued a road rage accident on Hwy 101 in Depoe Bay along milepost 128.
Based on initial investigations, a white Chevy S10 truck and a silver Honda were involved in a traffic accident. The altercation concluded with the 64-year-old male driver of the Chevy pickup getting hit by a Honda while standing outside his vehicle. He suffered critical injuries and was taken to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital in Lincoln City.
The suspect’s car is thought to be a silver Honda Accord from 2008 to 2015. It is suspected that the passenger side-view mirror was damaged during the event, and the hood may have been damaged as well.
The OSP is looking for witnesses who can help them identify the car and the suspect involved.
