Pedestrian Dies in Hit and Run Accident on HWY 395 – Umatilla County
September 3, 2019

Umatilla County, OR – On Saturday, August 31st at around 2:30 AM a pedestrian was hit by a car on HWY 395 near milepost 4A.

It appears that the pedestrian was pushing a shopping cart northbound when the suspected 1994-2001 Acura Integra struck the pedestrian from behind. The pedestrian who has not been named at this time sustained fatal injuries. 

The driver of the Acura did not stop but left several pieces of their vehicle that was used with the public’s help to identify the make, model, and year of the vehicle. 

Oregon State Police are still investigating the crash and are seeking anyone with information regarding the accident.
