Pedestrian Killed in Single Vechile Car Accident on Hwy 99 – Phoenix, Oregon

Jackson County, Oregon (Phoenix, OR) – Mark Cooper was killed Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at approximately 6:00 P.M. on Hwy 99 near milepost 11 in Phoenix, Oregon. 

A preliminary investigation revealed that a Honda Accord, driven by Bonnie Knudsen (58) of Medford, was northbound on Hwy 99 when a male pedestrian, identified as Mark Cooper (57) no home town known,  walked in front of the vehicle and was struck.

Cooper was transported to Rogue Regional Hospital in Medford where he was pronounced deceased.
