Los Angeles County, California (Long Beach, CA) – On October 11, 2023, 64-year-old motorist Silverio Arturo Vasquez of Los Angeles died in a collision on West Ninth Street in Long Beach, CA.
The Long Beach Post reported that around 4 o’clock, a two-vehicle traffic collision happened near junction of Anaheim Street and West Ninth Street. A 2009 Lexus ES350 owned by Silverio Arturo Vasquez and was traveling north on West Ninth Street. On the same street, a driver of 2014 Volvo semi-truck was traveling south.
Vasquez is suspected of making an unsafe turn in the direction of Anaheim Street’s westbound traffic that resulted in a collision with a truck. The Los Angeles guy passed away on the site. The 30-year-old truck driver, Santa Ana, pulled over and helped with the investigation.
Authorities are looking into the incident and believe the speed caused the collision.
