Sacramento County, California (Sacramento, CA) – On August 10, 2023, a single individual was hurt in a multi-car accident involving a stolen vehicle in Sacramento, CA.
The incident took place at 5:30 a.m., according to Sacramento Police. Wednesday. Sacramento Police attempted to pull over a pickup vehicle for a traffic violation. However, the pickup truck driver refused to cooperate and ran northbound on Highway 163’s southbound lanes.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol took up the pursuit at this point, and the driver smashed into two other vehicles. One of the other vehicle’s occupants complained of discomfort, which was not considered life-threatening. Following the investigation, investigators found that the suspect led the chase in a stolen vehicle. Officers nabbed the man on suspicion of hit-and-run and car theft.
