Salt Lake County, Utah (UT) – On October 3, 2025, Police said a pedestrian was struck by a truck while crossing in a crosswalk in the area of 1950 in Salt Lake County, UT.
According to Salt Lake City police, the pedestrian was taken to a hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries. He was identified as Jesse Marchant, a 65-year-old. Investigators said the victim may have been a city employee, though that has not been confirmed.
