According to Illinois Valley Fire District a flatbed truck crashed near Wild Park Ln on HWY 199 (30 Minutes down Redwood Highway towards Cave Junction) closing the HWY for about an hour and a half. The flatbed was hauling a pickup truck when it left the roadway and rolled back onto the highway block the road. The drive was transported to Asante Three Rivers Medical Center on Ramsey Ave in downtown Grants Pass. His status is currently unknown and the Oregon State Police and investigating the cause of the accident. The flatbed truck was the only vehicle damaged in the accident and it is unknown at this time if a hit and run or wildlife were the cause of the accident.
