Jefferson County, Oregon (OR) – On May 3, 2026, Oregon State Police responded to a fatal two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in Jefferson County, OR.
According to the preliminary investigation, a black Harley-Davidson FHX traveling westbound, operated by Kevin Allen Cloud, 65-year-old, of Scio, attempted to pass traffic by crossing the double yellow line into the eastbound lane. The motorcycle then collided head-on with an eastbound gray Kia Sedona driven by Angela Kristine MacFarland, 49-year-old, of Bend.
Cloud was airlifted by Life Flight to a nearby hospital with serious injuries but died shortly after arrival. MacFarland sustained minor injuries, and a 14-year-old passenger in the Kia was not injured. The highway was affected for approximately three hours during the on-scene investigation.
Oregon State Police were assisted by Black Butte Police, Black Butte Ranch RFPD, and Sisters Fire.
