Stanislaus County, California (Modesto, CA) – On July 14, 2025, a collision occurred between a semi-truck and a white sedan just west of Turlock in Modesto, CA.
Around 10:14 a.m., a crash involving a semi-truck and a sedan left at least one person dead. The collision caused front-end damage to the semi-truck and shut down the road. Officials also requested that the Turlock Irrigation District inspect a possibly damaged irrigation box nearby.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification. A chaplain responded, and CHP is still investigating. Both vehicles required towing, and county crews handled traffic and cleanup.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area for several hours as crews cleared the scene and investigators gathered evidence.
