San Diego County, California (National City, CA) – On Thursday, December 8, 2022, a two-vehicle accident transpired on the Interstate 5 Freeway just south of Mile of Cars Way in National City, CA.
CHP says the incident occurred about 7:02 a.m. when the operators of a gray Sedan and gray Chevrolet pickup truck smashed into the north side lane of the I-5 Freeway.
Two right lanes of the freeway were closed. Medical personnel rushed to help the victims but no details were yet released. Tow trucks were used to release ruined vehicles down the roadway.
The investigation is ongoing.
