Los Angeles County, California (Los Angeles, CA) – On Saturday afternoon, December 11, 2021, a student from USC died in a traffic accident.
Based on the initial investigation, the university student was struck at the intersection between Jefferson Boulevard and Harvard Boulevard at about 3:00 p.m. while on the crosswalk. The student has been identified as Arian Rahbar, a 21-year-old.
Two vehicles were racing when one of them hit the student. The operator of the car worked with the officials and stayed on the scene.
Both operators involved in the collision have been arrested. The charges against the two drivers are still unknown. The vehicles have been brought into custody, a Dodge and an Infiniti.
