Riverside County, California (Moreno Valley, CA) – On April 11, 2022, authorities are investigating a fatal incident in Moreno Valley late Monday night when an SUV drove off the road and smashed into a residence, killing a female passenger and wounding the male driver.
The accident happened at about 11:15 p.m. When help came to the Indian Street residence, they discovered two people stuck inside the dark SUV. To cut the automobiles open, many instruments were needed. The SUV’s impact was so strong that it blew over the fence surrounding the house, destroyed two automobiles in the driveway, and pushed the vehicle into the garage. It sounded like metal cracking and slamming against one another.
The automobile also caused severe damage to the house, with debris, a disintegrating garage wall and a battered pickup truck visible from the pavement outside the property on Tuesday morning. The driver of the SUV was taken to a local hospital. His current state is unclear. The female SUV occupant was killed in the incident. Keonia Selena Brown, 40-year-old, a mother of three girls, was identified by family members who arrived at the site Tuesday morning.
The identity of the dead woman has not yet been confirmed by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office. The collision is still being investigated as investigators try to figure out why and how the operator lost control.
