San Mateo County, California (Woodside, CA) – On Saturday, April 22, 2023, a woman died and two others were injured after a crash on I-280 southbound in Woodside, CA.
According to a few Tweets from the California Highway Patrol. At about 2:38 in the afternoon, a white Ford sedan was driving north in the southbound lane and crashed into a black BMW SUV in the #4 lane. The latter vehicle’s driver, a 54-year-old woman from San Francisco, was declared dead on the scene by emergency personnel who were first responders.
The SUV had a passenger who was a 14-year-old boy. He was sitting in the front passenger seat, and he was taken to Stanford Medical Center because of major injuries sustained.
The Ford’s driver, Constellatia A. Martin, 24-year-old from Campbell, was arrested. She also sustained major injuries and was taken to Stanford Medical Center as well. It is unclear if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
